Beach Wedding

Dine, I found a picture of myself happily marching and enjoying the resonating excitement of such a picturesque wedding.

If you own a beach right infront of your home, and you are about to marry, would you consider holding your wedding on it? Ces, my inaanak sa kasal did just that. She orchestrated the whole proceedings, with the help of her friends. She did a wonderful job! The sea breeze gently touching your hair, the sunset lighting the horizon in red and yellow, and the palm trees adding exotic touch to the venue, made the wedding ceremony beautiful and romantic

I love how she decorated the altar with bougainvillas of different colors and right behind is the beautiful ocean. How romantic!

The parents and the witnesses.

The wedding bells

This is my favorite scene at the wedding. Who would have thought that the cake would look good on the stump of the tree? That tree came from a school site and was considered to be an eyesore and was about to be uprooted. The bride saw it and knew exactly what to do with it.

Beautiful. First time I heard of Beach wedding in our Island, maybe not anymore this time since meron na ding caterers sa atin (or wedding coordinator).

Syempre sa Catanduanes if you say beach wedding, some people might give you the brows alam mo na mga tao minsan sa atin masyadong conservative but what the heck, we have many beautiful beaches to use as a "backdraft" for weddings.

For sure daming nanonood.

Very romantic indeed.
By the way, I too married near the beach (of course the official part was in church ) but after that it was the beach ! :-)

that is just beautiful.
i like how Ces saw the beauty in the "eye sore"
there is truly a lesson to be learned from that.
also, ang sarap naman ng turon na 'yan.
nakakagutom.
have a great weekend,
i'll 'see' you on monday :)

@faith, yes, this wedding was held in Catanduanes.

@K, i didn't think there were a lot of onlookers in this wedding. ces' place is sort of tucked in. paborito mo palan ang turon. is there saba available in hongkong?

@sidney, it was, indeed, romantic.

@chesca, she has definitely an artistry in her. she should be a wedding planner. hope you have a great weekend.

Wow. Dream wedding ha. Yes, that was such a delightful idea ... setting the wedding cakes on the tree stumps. Nice of the priest to agree to an off-site ceremony (minsan ang higpit nila). Thanks for sharing the lovely photos with us, Belle.

Wow, this is every girl's dream wedding I believe. Breath taking! Even if it's not my wedding, I don't mind being the guest.

Hi Belle. I've never been to a beach wedding before but I love the idea. It's so romantic.

It looks like a wonderful wedding. Love the idea of the cake ensemble. Very creative!

Thanks for sharing. Happy weekend!

soooo romantic. and did you say the bride was in charge of the decorations? she must have had a lot of stamina--preparing herself for the wedding, and at the same time doing all the decorations. nice shots, belle, and you focused on the wedding, you didn't even post your picture when you attended that wedding :)

@Anna, a pastor officiated the wedding. wasn't that a clever idea setting cakes on the stumps? u are welcome.

@sesame, it was, indeed, breathtaking! i enjoyed the wedding immensely.

@sexymom, you wish is my command, i added a picture of myself from the wedding.

@pining, thanks! now, that i found your blog, i will be visiting often. (vacation mode muna, though).

@KK, i absolutely agree with you, Ces is very creative. she should explore the idea of being a wedding planner. she has a knack for it, don't u think?

Wow, that is so romantic! My dream wedding would either be on a beach just like this or up in a hill/mountain in Baguio under the stars. Sayang, we did not have either of those. Maybe on our 25th year! :D
Have a great week ahead, Belle!

Hi Belle :)

I also want to have a beach wedding but I'm thinking of not using anything but simply the scene in the beach. I don't want to use any decoration...hmmmmm

I wonder if it will happen. My parents would surely prefer a church wedding but I want something different. As long as I'm wearing a gown of course hehe :)
